Chocolate
Break the bar into small pieces with your hands — the smaller they are, the faster they dissolve.

Milk
Pour the milk into a small pot and heat it over medium heat, stirring the whole time, until small bubbles appear around the edge. Do not let it boil.
Milk boils over in a couple of seconds and floods the hob. Stay at the pot and do not look at your phone.

Melt in
Turn off the hob and lift the pot off the ring. Add the chocolate, sugar and vanilla and stir until the chocolate has completely dissolved.

Serving
Pour into two mugs and let them stand for a couple of minutes — the drink is very hot. Enjoy!
Pick the mug up by the handle only, and do not carry it filled to the brim — leave a finger of space.
